The Dolphins host the New England Patriots on Sunday, Nov. 1. The stadium's events calendar lists kickoff at 4:25 p.m., and the game airs on CBS. Here is what you need to know before you go.
When to get there
Sunday is also the end of daylight saving time. Clocks go back one hour at 2 a.m., according to timeanddate.com. The 4:25 p.m. kickoff is on the new, standard time.
For Dolphins games, stadium parking lots open four hours before kickoff, at 12:25 p.m., and gates open two hours before, at 2:25 p.m. The GEICO HRS Express lots open three hours before kickoff, at 1:25 p.m.
Parking and getting there
Stadium parking must be bought ahead of time. On Tuesday, a banner on the stadium's Park and Ride page said parking at the stadium was sold out and Park and Ride passes were still available.
- GEICO HRS Express: park for $10 at Lot 70, 5700 S. State Road 7 in Fort Lauderdale, across from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, or Lot 95, the Golden Glades garage at 16000 NW Seventh Ave. Free shuttles use express lanes and run until 75 minutes after the game.
- Brightline: book a Hard Rock Stadium Connect ticket to Aventura Station. A free shuttle leaves 10 minutes after each of those trains arrives. Leave the stadium at least an hour before your train home.
- Rideshare: pickup is at Lot 44, about a 25-minute walk. The stadium suggests riding the HRS Express shuttle and calling your ride from Lot 70 or Lot 95 instead.
What you can bring
The NFL's clear bag policy applies. You can bring one clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. You can also carry a small bag up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches, like a clutch, with or without a strap.
Leave these at home, per the stadium's A to Z guide:
- Umbrellas
- Backpacks and bags that are not clear, beyond the small clutch
- Video cameras, tripods, selfie sticks and cameras with zoom lenses
- Reusable water bottles. Factory-sealed plastic water bottles of 20 ounces or less are allowed.
Inside the stadium
Hard Rock Stadium does not take cash anywhere, including parking, the box office, food stands and shops. You can turn cash into a prepaid card at Guest Experience booths near sections 115, 143, 215, 243, 315 and 343. Once you leave, you can't come back in.
