José Andrés is bringing the Bazaar back to Miami Beach. Bazaar Meat by José Andrés opens Thursday, Oct. 22, inside the Andaz Miami Beach Resort and Spa at 4041 Collins Ave. in Mid-Beach.

The restaurant group calls it "a wild celebration of the carnivorous." The kitchen is the show: big cuts of meat are seared over open flames while guests watch. The menu also includes vegetables, modern tapas and cocktails.

Why it matters

Miami has missed the Bazaar. The Bazaar by José Andrés ran at SLS South Beach from June 2012 until March 2023, when it closed at the end of its deal with the hotel, Haute Living reported. It was one of the city's most talked-about restaurants.

The new spot is not a copy. Bazaar Meat is the group's steakhouse brand, with locations in Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. Miami's version is led by Manuel "Manny" Echeverri, the Miami-based culinary director for Bazaar.

What to order

A full menu has not been posted yet. But the OpenTable listing offers two tasting menus that require the whole table to take part:

  • **The Bazaar Tasting Menu, $195 per person.** It brings back South Beach classics like "Ferran Adrià" liquid olives, the bagel and lox cone and cotton candy foie gras. It adds new dishes like a giant pork chicharrón and an American wagyu bone-in strip loin.
  • **José's Ultimate Tasting Menu, $265 per person.** The group calls it the way José himself eats at Bazaar Meat, starting in Spain and traveling the world.

Both tasting menus are prepaid. Expect a bill well above a typical night out, especially with drinks.

Before you go

Dinner starts at 5 p.m. nightly, and the dress code is business casual, according to OpenTable. Reservations are available there and through the restaurant's website.

The Andaz took over the former Confidante hotel and opened in May 2025 with two José Andrés Group spots, Aguasal and Bar Centro. At the time, Hyatt said a Bazaar restaurant would follow later that year. It took a bit longer, and it arrives as a steakhouse.
